The Right Ways (1965-1970)
Our music covered a wide spectrum of Top 40, Motown and Rock, with a major emphasis on vocals. Each member took a turn in the spotlight to sing lead vocal, as we added background harmonies and also switched to play multiple instruments.

We performed covers of about 250 songs. Popular cover songs included "Get Ready", Gloria", "Knock On Wood", "More Today Than Yesterday", "Fire", "Magic Carpet Ride", "I Got A Line On You", "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man", "Kind Of A Drag", "In My Room", "My Girl", and "In A Gadda Da Vida". Original tunes included "Al's Jam" and "Mystery Girl".
Friends (1970-1973)
This group played a wide variety of upbeat Top 40 and dance tunes. Formed as a 5-piece band with two guitars, bass, drums, and female keyboard player/vocalist, we often performed as a 4-piece group due to member changes.

Squire (1975-1976)
Based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Squire was known for it's driving 70's rock music, featuring superb guitar and keyboard soloists. We played clubs and bars across the state.

Seasons (1979-1982)
Starting as a 5-piece group with female vocalist, the group evolved into a 4-piece band without the lead vocalist. Primarily a wedding band, we played for company and school dances as well.

The Right Ways Reunion (1989)
Ron Shapiro, Rich Stephen, Ron Muklewicz, Art Gall
We rekindled The Right Ways to perform at our 20th high school class reunion dance. We covered 33 of the old 60's songs in a 75-minute set ... opening with "Get Ready", blending several multi-song medleys, and closing with a dedication to Al Juris (our bass player, who had passed away in 1981).
